Mary Louise Maust, 93, of Acosta, died December 11, 2022 at The Patriot. She fought a good fight, and kept the faith. She was born August 24, 1929 in Acosta, she is the daughter of Morris and Elisie Mae (Marker) Brant. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd Richard Maust who died June 14, 2011, son Lloy Maust brothers: Elwood and Wilmer Brant, sisters: Marjorie Rice, Gladys Minerd, and Geneva Beeman and two infant brothers. She is survived by her daughters Dinah Jerin of Acosta, and Delores Kurtz of Somerset, grandchildren: Tracy Pritts, Richard Beahr, Chad Jerin, Shelby Jerin, and Laura Schiffhauer, 10 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and brother Floyd Brant of Meyersdale. Mary worked until her retirement as a LPN for the Somerset State Hospital, and also as a cosmetologist, she was also a member of the Boswell Church of God. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m Friday with Reverend Randy Brant officiating.
