Michael Paul Koval, 47, of Somerset, died October 2, 2025 at UPMC Somerset. Born January 6, 1978 in Johnstown, he is the son of the late Robert Gene and Pauline Alice (Awtey) Koval Sr. Survived by his children Colbi Koval of Central City, Alec Koval, and Connor Koval both of Somerset, grandchildren Mya, Bristol, and Wrenleigh, brothers Robert Koval Jr. and wife Crystal,and David Koval and wife Danielle, nephews and nieces Korey, Beau, Catey, Casey, and Tucker, and lifetime friends Becky, Donnie, Terry, Jerry, and Leeanna.. Michael was a 1997 graduate of Somerset High School, he had worked as a coal miner. He was a member of Jenner Rod & Gun Club,and enjoyed fast cars, especially Mustang's. Friends received 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Interment Listie Cemetery.
