Mildred Elva Berkebile, 86, of Somerset, went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2020 at Somerset Hospice House. Born November 30, 1933 in Windber, she is the daughter of David Lee and Margaret Virginia (Dishong) Fodder. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald Warren Berkebile who died April 16, 1998, grandson, Gerald Ray Berkebile and sisters and brother, Ruth Apter, Dorothy Waldrop, Galen Fodder, and Ann Bailey. Survived by her children; Carroll L. Pucci of Somerset and her fiance Leo Shinholt, Patricia A. Fisher and husband Jason of Berlin, Galen W. Berkebile and Gerald W. Berkebile and wife Leora (Rose) all of Somerset, also 10 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren; sisters; Margaret Menser of Somerset, Charlotte Spangler of Tionesta, and Evelyn Hartman of Johnstown. Mildred was a graduate of Somerset High School, she was a member of Young At Heart, Red Hats, DWS, and was a 49 year member of the Farm Women's Card Club, she attended St. Paul's Presbyterian Church. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset and 10-11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Tony Myers officiating.
