Patricia Ann Brant

Patricia Ann Brant, 86, of Somerset, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 17, 2022 at UPMC Somerset Hospital. Born September 19, 1935 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Wilson Robert and Allegra M. (Holsopple) May. Preceded in death by her parents, and sister Eileen Knepper. Survived by her husband Charles Howard "Chuck" Brant to whom she was married 67 years. She was a beloved mother and Mimi to; Bradley Brant and wife Cindy of Somerset, Brenda Troy and husband Ron of Hillsborough, NJ, and Beth Lane and husband Michael of Somerset, grandchildren; Ashley and Adam Brant, and Allie and Anna Lane, also brother Donald May and wife Connie of Lewisburg. Patricia was a 1953 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School, she worked as Recorder of Deeds for Somerset County from 1992 to 2012 where she retired. She was also a member of Faith Lutheran Church, VIS Club, and was very active with the Republican Party, she enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her family, and she devoted her entire life to her family and continues to influence their lives.
