Patricia Ann (Beal) McNaul-Bender

Patricia Ann McNaul-Bender, 90, of Somerset, died June 20, 2022 at Somerset Hospice House. Born September 4, 1931 in New Florence, PA, she is the daughter of Arthur Edgar and Helen Joyce (Moyer) Beal. Preceded in death by her parents, first husband John W. McNaul, second husband George E. Bender, and daughter Gayle Miller. Survived by her children; Susan Knowles of Durham, NC, John E. McNaul and wife Kelly, James W. McNaul, son-in-law Troy Miller all of Somerset, grandchildren; Travis Cober wife Jordan and children Miles and Mina of Allen, TX, Erika Cober of Durham, NC, Adam McNaul of Duncansville, Aimee McNaul Shober and husband Sam, daughter Ava, of Berlin, Lauren Miller Caimano and husband Jacob of Greensburg, Stephen Crissey and wife Brea, children Logan, Elise, Reid, of Warren, and sister Donna Cauffiel of Johnstown Johnston, PA. Patricia was a 1948 graduate of Johnstown Central High School, and a 1952 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania Teachers College, she worked as a home economics teacher for Ligonier School District and later Somerset School District where she retired. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church PA State Retired Teachers, DAR, she was a founding member and volunteer with Meals on Wheels, she was a past president of the Women's Club, was a past judge of the Maple Queen Festival, and Quilting Contest, and enjoyed sewing, cooking, quilting, and knitting. Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. Saturday July 23, 2022 at the Trinity Lutheran Church Pavillion, Somerset, where a celebration of life will follow at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Hall Cemetery, State College.
