Paul Calvin Casebeer, 81, of Export, died January 2, 2025 at Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. Born September 22, 1944 in Somerset, he is the son of Paul Miller and Thelma Blanche (Hyde) Casebeer. Preceded in death by his parents and wife, the former Cheryl Brandt. Survived by his son Daniel Casebeer of Export, and brother Earl Casebeer and wife Virginia of Wexford. Paul was a 1962 graduate of Somerset High School and worked as a school teacher for Pittsburgh Public Schools until his retirement. He was a member of Casbeer Lutheran Church in Somerset, and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Monroeville. He was a member of Lodge 546 F&AM District 54, and enjoyed hunting the outdoors and spending time with his family. Friends received 10-11 a.m. Friday at the Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Allen Stump officiating. Interment Casebeer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
