Pauline Shaulis Obituary

Pauline M. Shaulis, 90, of Berlin, formerly of Somerset, died February 19, 2019 at Good Samaritan Nursing Center.  Born March 16, 1928 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Alpha Edward and Daisy Mae (Sleasman) Miller.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband E. Meade Shaulis, infant son Bradley Jay Shaulis, brothers: Clark, Ray and Fred Miller, and sisters: Grace Baker, Ethel Rossiter, Mary Stahl, Arlene Palmer, and Edna Fry.  Survived by her children: Deborah Rouch and husband Luke, and Douglas M. Shaulis married to the former Cathy Gross all of Somerset, grandchildren: Megan Critchfield and husband George, Matthew Rouch and wife Sarah, Drew Shaulis and companion Alex Knepper, and Chelsea Shaulis and fiance Sean McWhirter, great-grandchildren: Caleb, Eli, Jeremiah, MacKenzie, and Baby Shaulis (on the way), also sister Ruth Walker of Somerset. Pauline was a 1945 graduate of Somerset High School, and a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, she had worked for Ratsy's Restaurant, Jamesway, and McNelly Bus Lines.  Friends received 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Dena M. Gable officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church 3093 Glades Pike, Somerset. PA 15501.
