Penny Rae Sheetz

Penny Rae Sheetz, 74, of Somerset, died January 13, 2025 at UPMC Altoona. Born August 13, 1950, she is the daughter of Blair Beeghly Ross and Daisy Marie (Merringer) Ross-Miller-Derencin. Preceded in death by her parents, step-father John L. Miller Sr. brothers Ronald L. Miller, and Barry B. Ross, and an infant son Steven. Survived by her children Scott Yoder and wife Heidi of Somerset, Angela Glessner and husband Josh of Philipsburg and Jessica Mack and husband Corey of Acosta, 24 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers Judith Chronowski and husband John, Sandra Miller, Blair Ross, and John Miller Jr. and wife Vicki. Penny was a 1968 graduate of Somerset High School, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Philipsburg, and the Somerset Alliance Church. Friends received 1-2 p.m. Saturday April 5, 2025 at the Somerset Alliance Church where a service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Reverend Dr. Scott Ream officiating. Interment Walker Cemetery.
