Phyllis S Moyer

Phyllis Moyer, 94, of Somerset, died December 17, 2020 at UPMC Somerset Hospital. Born June 12, 1926 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Kenneth Woy and Mary Catherine (Ebaugh) Saylor. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Pence Moyer who died March 23, 2019, son Robert N. Moyer, granddaughter Jennifer Beth Thomas, sister Imogene Hixson and brother Larry Saylor. Survived by her daughter; Pamela Moyer Thomas and husband Roger of Winchester, VA, son; Bradley David Moyer of Richmond, VA, two granddaughters; Laura Beth Thomas and husband Alan Broderick of Williamsburg, VA, and Kathryn Anne Thomas and husband Christopher Morales of Winchester, VA, also two great-grandsons; Preston and Logan Broderick of Williamsburg, VA, also brother Kenneth "Neil" Saylor of Pittsburgh. Phyllis was a 1944 graduate of Somerset High School, she was formerly co-owner of the Somerset Nursery School, she was also a member of DAR and Calvary United Methodist Church where she was a member for over 70 years and sang in the choir for over 60 years.. There will be no viewing or visitation, a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
