Randy Lynn Boden, 69, of Somerset, died February 28, 2025 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born June 12, 1955 in Bedford, PA. He is the son of Charles A. and Anna (Beard) Boden. Preceded in death by his father, sister Linda Blocher, and brother Dan Boden. Survived by his mother of Hooversville, wife the former Robin Sue Shaffer to whom he was married 10 years, sons Travis Boden and wife Monica, and Ryan Boden, grandchildren: Alexandra Nedrow and husband Nate, Tyler, Samantha, Sarah, and Bryce Boden, also survived by sisters Sandy Tiday, Nancy Boden, Cheryl Rugg and husband Ed, and Kim Benny and husband Joe, brothers Jeff Boden and wife Connie, , Ed Boden, Joe Boden , and Bill Boden and wife Dawn. Randy was a graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School, he was a US Army Veteran, he worked until his retirement for the Union Laborer Local 419, and was a member of American Legion Post 941 Randy also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at camp. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset. A service will be held at the later date at the convenience of the family.
