Randy Devon Charlton Sr.

Randy Devon Charlton Sr. 67, of Friedens, died June 26, 2021 at his home.  Born April 27, 1954 in Somerset, he is the son of Vincent L. and Betty Jane (Sarver) Charlton.  Preceded in death by his parents, wife the former Barbara Sue Walker who died January 12, 2018, brother Stanley Charlton, and sisters Mary Jane Charlton, and Nancy Phillippi. Survived by his children: Jessica Strayer and husband George of Somerset, Shawn Charlton and wife Bre of Clayton, NC, Jennifer Charlton and boyfriend Raymond Younkin of Sipesville, Randy Charlton Jr.and wife Peggy of Friedens, Barbara Swauger and husband Jimmy of Somerset, Kelly Hernandez and husband Frankie of Johnstown, Samantha Charlton and boyfriend Nicholas Gaglio of Friedens, and 11 grandchildren; sisters and brother; Carol J. Tressler of Greensburg, Patricia A. Will of Edie, Sandra L. Lepley, and Daniel B. Charlton and wife Karen all of Friedens.  Randy was a graduate of JBJ High School, he worked for various companies over his career as an equipment operator until his retirement.  He enjoyed working on cars, spending time outdoors, hunting, horses, four-wheeler riding, tractors, and spending time with his dogs.  Friends received 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, and from 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Somerset Church of God where a service will immediately follow at 10 a.m. with Bishop MD Herring officiating.
