Raymond Edward "Ray" Wenk, 85, of Hidden Valley, died June 20, 2024 at his home. Born July 18, 1938 in Pittsburgh, he is the son of Louis and Flora (Cleaver) Wenk. Preceded in death by his parents, and sister Marilyn Johnston. Survived by his children Bonnie Wenk, Cathie Carr and husband Johnny, David Wenk and wife Kathleen, and Jeffrey Wenk and wife LeeAnn, grandchildren Jon, Patrick, Shannon, Breanne, Danielle, Skyler, and Jordyn, also survived by his partner and best friend for over 25 years Merylyn Scribner, and her children Michael Scribner and wife Chrisy, Jill Weber and husband Kurt, Jane Holt and husband Greg, and her grandchildren Ty, Max, Samantha, Laura, David, Mackenzie, and Hannah, also brothers Louie Wenk and wife Joann and Larry Wenk, and sister Linda Fischer and husband Warren. Ray was a 1957 graduate of Langley High School, and a US Army Veteran, he worked for Motorola, and later he started his own business C.C. TV Technology. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church of Crafton Heights in Pittsburgh where he was an Usher and Deacon, and later Southminster Church in Mt. Lebanon, PA. He enjoyed flying and had his private pilots license, and playing golf. Friends received 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Douglas Nolt officiating. Interment Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Military rite accorded by the Somerset County Honor Guard.
