Richard Paul Bulow, 88, of Somerset, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on May 29, 2026. Born January 23, 1938 in Meadville, he is the son of Paul James and Mary Rita (Eager) Bulow. Preceded in death by his parents, and brothers James and Phillip Bulow. Survived by his wife the former Frances Ann Diehl to whom he was married 64 years, children Elizabeth Svonavec and husband Timothy, Kathryn Feeney and husband Pat and Matthew Bulow and wife Karola, grandchildren Sarah Hillegas, Rachel Eisman and husband Jared, Eli Svonavec, Daina Dozzi-Ripps and husband Brian, Marta Dozzi, Elsa DiDomenico and husband Domenic, Paul Dozzi, Josephina and Samuel Bulow, bonus grandchildren Dakota Gary and fiance Hope, Pierre and Ann Brun and Marc Burn, great-grandson Cameron Hillegas, and sister Mary Jo Riley and husband Bud. Dick was a US Army Veteran and was a graduate of St. Francis College, he was a co-founder of Lamberson Bulow & Hottle Co. where he was a CPA and later worked as a financial advisor for Laurel Highlands Financial. He was past president of the Somerset Rotary Club and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Dick was an avid Bridge and chess player and enjoyed reading. Friends received 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday June 6, 2026 at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset a service will be held at the convenience of the family.
