Richard Paul Knepper

Richard Paul Knepper, 81, of Markleton, died May 19, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born May 23, 1940 in Somerset, he is the son of John R. and Carrie L. (Barron) Knepper. Preceded in death by his parents, and wife the former Kathryn Marie Williams who died March 21, 2011. Survived by his children; R. Michael Knepper and wife Robin of Rockwood, and Anne E. Pritts and husband Tim of Frostburg, twin grandsons; Johnathan "Jake", and Adam Knepper both of Connellsville, grandson; Joshua Pritts and wife Jasmine of Morgantown, and granddaughter; Kaitlin Pritts of Michigan. Dick was 1957 graduate of Rockwood High School, he was a US Army Veteran, and was a lifetime farmer and was owner/operator of Dick Knepper Equipment, he was a member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren, and enjoyed reading. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Reverend Ronald Barto officiating.
