February 1, 2021 6:57 PMBob was always pleasant to visit in Land O'Lakes Florida. My wife Mary is his niece and we both attended USF and knew him as a great doctor as well as a great friend. He introduced me to many woodworking tricks there. He will be missed greatly. God be with him and the family.

January 9, 2021 6:41 AMI had the pleasure of caring for and getting to know this generous self sacrificing man when he and Delores lived in Ocala. Two people and their daughter whom I will be forever grateful to my God for allowing into my life. He will be greatly missed here on earth, but heaven in rejoicing from his prescence there.

December 31, 2020 1:53 PMI had the honor of meeting Dr. Egolf at LifeCare of Ocala, I was his driver back and forth. He was a man of great wealth in knowledge, I asked him what was his greatest accomplishments in life were? His response was the Library at UF....I went home and googled his life and info about the library. On our next trip out, I gave him all the info I had about his life. He asked me HOW did I know so much about his legacy, I said with a smile I googled YOU. He said WOW!!. He spoke often of his family and always gave me encouragement for my children and reading. I often asked him when was he going to write a book about his life, he said no one would read it. I told him I would read and buy it. Upon him leaving Lifecare he gently hugged me and I was inspired to to write my own book to Dr. Egolf which I mailed to him. My prayers are with his family and he surely made an impact in the lives he crossed.
