Robert Glen Handwork, 67 of Canonsburg, died May 8, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born July 21, 1956 in Bedford County, he is the son of the late Glen Ray and Barbara Grace (Saylor) Handwork. Survived by his wife JoAnn Handwork to whom he was married 24 years, children: Glen E. Schubert and wife Haylee of Lockport, NY, Chad Lawhorne, Katrina Wilson and husband Dave, Billie Jo Lawhorne, and Michael Lawhorne all of Washington, PA, 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and sister Helen Handwork of Somerset. Robert was a 1974 graduate of Somerset High School, he worked until his retirement as the regional service manager for Piney Bowes. He was a 53 year member of Wills Grange, a lifetime member of NRA, and A.B.A.T.E (American Bikers Aimed Toward Education), he enjoyed motorcycling and was known for his saying "Let's Roll" when going for a ride. Friends received 4-7 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Andrew Broucher officiating.
