Robert William Nightingale

Robert William Nightingale, 69, of Friedens, died November 17, 2021 at UPMC Somerset Hospital. Born February 13, 1952 in Somerset, he is the son of the late William and Carol Ann (Beal) Nightingale. Survived by his wife the former Marsha Ann Belsar to who he was married 46 years, children: Mary Nightingale (Charles), Eric Nightingale (Sandra), Melissa Frampton (Ron) all of Meyersdale, grandchildren: Ashley Hoffman (Zachary), Dylan, Derrick, and Gavin Nightingale, Breanna Laskoski, Brandon Frampton (April), and Jaden Frampton, great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Remington, Rhett, and Eversleigh, also siblings Linda Conn of Somerset, and James Nightingale (Darlene) of Simpsonville, SC. Bob was a 1971 graduate of Somerset High School, he was a US Army Veteran of VIetnam, he worked until his retirement as a corrections officer for SCI Somerset, he also enjoyed hunting, bowling, golfing, fishing and hunting. Friends received 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Reverend Lee Gable officiating.
