Robert Eugene Speelman Jr., 67, of Somerset, died November 5, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born November 20, 1954 in Canton, OH, he is the son of Robert Eugene and Shirley A. (Baker) Speelman Sr. Survived by his parents of Somerset, wife the former Dorothy M. Sanner, children: Jason Speelman and wife Corina of Hampton, VA, Joshua Speelman and girlfriend Carla of Duncansville and Misty Urban and husband Greg of Somerset, grandchildren: Joshua Jr., Sierra, and Madison, brothers and sisters: Dwayne Speelman and wife Theresa, Debbie Pyle and husband Jeff, Ricky Speelman, and Brenda DeWitt and husband Russ all of Somerset. Bob was a 1973 graduate of Somerset High School, he worked until his retirement as a heavy equipment mechanic for New Enterprise and later Shaffer Block. He was a member of FOE Aerie 1801, he enjoyed watching racing and working on anything with a motor. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, a private service will be held at a later date.
