Ruby Wills Miller, 85, of Somerset, died August 31, 2025 at UPMC Somerset Hospital. Born September 21, 1939 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Reon Deosta and Goldie Marie (Hoffman) Wills. Preceded in death by her parents, and husband Neil Robert Miller. Survived by her sister-in-law Nancy Miller and brother-in-law William Eckman, and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Ruby was a 1958 graduate of Somerset High School, and attended Penn State Altoona. She worked until her retirement for DeVilbiss where she retired in 2001 with 41 yeas of service. Ruby enjoyed traveling, working fairs, she was an active horsewoman, and taught riding for 15 years. She was an active member in the Somerset Saddle Club and the Somerset Co. Horse and Mule Association. She served on the Somerset School Board for 10 years, Somerset Boro Council for 18 years where she served as Vice President and President. She also served as Somerset Co. Boro Association as treasurer, was active with Somerset Inc, was treasurer of the Somerset County Bicentennial, president of Somerset Co. Boro Bicentennial, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she had been a Sunday School Teacher, LCW officer, and was past president of the Altar Guild. No viewing or visitation. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday October 1, 2025 at Somerset County Memorial Park. with Pastor Ruth Jensen officiating.
