Sandra M. Crawford, 82, of Rockwood, died August 14, 2025 at her home. Born February 20, 1943 in Somerset, she is the daughter of John Wesley and Maude Elizabeth (Bruner) Barron. Preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Bessie I. (Ankney) Barron,step-son William Crawford, brothers Edgar, and Ellis "Joe" Barron, Howard, and Cecil, sisters Audrey Barron, and Arlene Tomanio,, half brother John Barron, half sisters Rosalyn Barron, Romaine Morrison, Rachel Barron, Anita Burton, and Gail Vavrek. Survived by her husband Gary Lee Crawford to whom she was married 52 years, son Gary Townshend of Springs, Evelyn Broderick of Somerset, Bonnie Keefer and husband Greg of Rockwood, Gary Lee Crawford and wife Louise of Friedens, and James Allen Crawford and wife Roni of the state of Indiana, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and brothers Barrie, Dale and John W. Barron Jr. and sister Emily Grace Harper. Sandra was a graduate of Somerset High School, and attended Samuel's Lutheran Church. No viewing or visitation a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
