Shelby Jean Shaulis, 86, of Somerset, died April 22, 2023 at her son's home in Barefoot Bay, FL. Born March 27, 1937 in Huntingdon, PA, she is the daughter of Harry and Blanche Clarissa (Wagner) Querry. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Elwood E. Shaulis who died in 1990, sisters: Ruth Neal, Betty Dinsmore, and Darlene, brother, Hubert Querry, an infant brother Evan, and son-in-law Clifford "Kip" Forlines. Survived by her children: Nancy Forlines of Vero Beach, FL, Gregory A. Shaulis and wife Vickie of Champion, and Scott C. Shaulis of Barefoot Bay, FL, grandson Zachary Shaulis of San Jose, CA, brothers and sisters: Wayne Querry, Ted Querry, Mary Faye Roadcap, and Terry Querry. Shelby worked until her retirement as a self-employed housekeeper, she used to be an avid skier, and enjoyed shopping and traveling. Friends received 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Donald Robson officiating.
