Shirley Ann Mosholder

Shirley A. Mosholder, 80, of Jennerstown peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her family on November 5, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Emmett and Evelyn (Witt) Miller. She is also preceded in death by her sister Nancy Hyde and her grandson Brandon Shaulis. Shirley is survived by her husband Barry Mosholder to whom she was his loving wife of 64 years. She is also survived by her children, Lisa Mosholder, Kristina Shesko (Tim) and Travis Mosholder (Lori). Her sisters, Pat Shaffer, Susan Paxton, Carol Pollock, Kathy Nuccetelli and brother John Miller. Grandchildren, Colin Mosholder, Tyler Mosholder, Jordan Rea and Oliva Shesko. She was a graduate of Somerset High School and was an LPN for many years at the Patriot Manor. Shirley was a caring, nurturing, selfless person who was always eager to help others. Her family meant everything to her. She was an amazing and loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Shirley was founder of the family charity organization Baskets of Love that has helped hundreds of local children at Christmas time and any other time there was a need. Friends received 10-11 a.m Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Michael Dunlap officiating.
