Shirley Blanche (Hoyle) Wolk, 91, of Somerset, died April 28, 2026. Born February 23, 1935 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Peter F. and Lydia M. (Pyle) Hoyle. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Collin Wolk Sr., great-granddaughter Kayla Jean Wolk, sisters Pearl Buchanan, Grace Meyers, Lois Zerfoss, and half sister June Shonko. Survived by her children Robert C. Wolk Jr. and wife Tina, Peggy Illar and husband Jack and Heidi DeVore and husband Tim, also numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and brother John Hoyle. Shirley was a graduate of Somerset High School, she had worked as a consultant for Dutchmaid Clothing and was the Somerset County Auditor. She was a member of Milford Church where she taught Sunday School, was past treasurer for 40 years, was a member of the Mission's Group, and had taken a humanitarian trip to Jamaica where she delivered shoes. Friends received 9-10 a.m. Thursday May 7, 2026 at Milford Church, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 10 a.m. with Reverend Douglas Burns officiating. Interment St. John's Cemetery.
