Shirley Jean Woolley

Shirley J. Wooley, 84, of Boswell, passed away at her home on December 18, 2022. Born October 17, 1938 in Rockwood, she is the daughter of Merle and Ethel (Marker) Carolus. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene Woolley, brother Donald Carolus and sister Helen Ohler. She is the survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kimberly and Brian Lyons, grandsons, Zachary and Austin Lyons, granddaughter Mattison Lyons, and brothers Merle and Ken Carolus. Shirley was a 1957 graduate of Rockwood Area High School. Many people will remember Shirley by her nickname Shrimp, as a loving, caring, busy, and on-the-go person. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and her granddaughter's dog Reid. She will be missed by her family, and all who knew her. Friends received 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 1 p.m with Reverend Gary Anderson officiating.
