Stacey Marie Valerio, 79, of Champion, died May 9, 2023 at UPMC Forbes Hospital. Born August 1, 1943 in Pittsburgh, she is the daughter of Roy and Alice (Malloy) Elk. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Pasquale "Pat" Nicholas Valerio, sister Donna Patterson and brother John Dominic. Survived by her children: Elise "Lisa" Shirley of Champion, Pasquale Valerio and wife Laurie of Midlothian, VA, and Valerie Medina Stahl and husband Jeff of Somerset, grandchildren: Nicole Pugh and husband Josh, Michael Shirley and wife Becky, Gabriela Crawford and husband Jonathan, Juliana Smith and husband Brandon, Giavanna and Isabella Valerio, Dillon and Antonio Medina, and Catie Klink, great-grandchildren: Rilee, Carmen, Cullen, Aubrey, Aria, Felicity, Alice, and Quin, and close friend Forrest. Stacey was a graduate of Shaler High School, she worked until her retirement for Seven Springs Resort, she was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, and was in charge of Bingo at Mountain Pines Campground. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, a funeral mass will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, with Father Angelo Patti Celebrant.
