Sue Ann Peterson Obituary

Sue Ann Peterson, 66, of Berlin, formerly of Somerset, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord, on October 19, 2023 at Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin. Born August 4, 1957 in Somerset, she was the daughter of Edward Peterson and Ivadene (Lee) Peterson-Pugh. Preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Velma Clay who raised her, sister Shirley Ross (William), foster brother Marlin Clay (Carol) and special friend Wayne St. Clair. Survived by her siblings Linda Sue Bottomley (Ralph) and Carl E. Peterson, foster siblings: Marsha Ream (John dec'd) of whom Sue lived with for 18 years, Bonnie Williams (Joe dec'd), Donna Hoover (Joe dec'd), Nancy Krepps (Vernon) and numerous nieces and nephews Sue worked for many years with the Somerset County Workshop, and was a member of Milford Church. She enjoyed spending time with her church family, watching TV and working on word searches. Sue was known for always saying "It's always something". Our hearts hurt. Friends received 5-7 p.m Monday October 30, 2023 at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, and from 10-11 a.m Tuesday October 31, 2023 at Milford Church, Somerset where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m with Reverend Douglas Burns officiating.
