Tracey Ellen Gnagey, age 66 of Asheboro, NC formerly of Somerset, went to be with Lord on Sunday, October 4, 2020.Born February 11, 1954 in Somerset, PA to Jim and Janet (Gerhardt) Gnagey.She is survived by her son, William J. Sparks, sisters, Beth McBride (John), Judy Gnagey-Davis (Michael), and nephews, James and Miles Gnagey-Davis. Tracey attended St. Matthews Lutheran Church where she participated in Woman's groups, Bible studies, and children's activities. She was a professional educator for over 45 years in Pennsylvania, Florida, and North Carolina where she retired from Farmer Elementary School. Tracey was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Tam O'Shanters Marching Corp, Rainbow Girls, Girl Scouts, and was a Boy Scout leader. Tracey enjoyed knitting, crafts, antiquing, traveling, social gatherings with friends and family, and long walks with her canine companion "Soho." Tracey was a strong Christian woman, devoted and loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She always lit up a room with her bubbly personality, contagious laugh, and affectionate smile. Tracey was loved by many and will be missed greatly. Friends received 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 10 a.m. with Reverend Andrew Brougher officiating.
