Valerie Ann Svonavec, 28, of Rockwood, died May 13, 2022 in Somerset. She was born December 17, 1993 in Somerset. She is the daughter of Vincent V. and Donna Lee (DeNicola) Svonavec of Rockwood. Also survived by her sisters Maria Svonavec of Greensburg, and Renee Svonavec of Rockwood. Valerie was a 2012 graduate of Rockwood High School, and was heavily involved with the youth livestock industry. Valerie was a free spirit who was bubbly and had a passion for life, with the most caring, compassionate heart that you would ever know. Her ability to connect with people and animals was amazing. Anyone that knew our Valerie will hold her deeply in their hearts forever. May her loving spirit live on in each and every one of us. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday with Reverend Barry K. Ritenour officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to your favorite charity, or St. Peter's Catholic School 433 W.
