Virginia Lee Foy

Virginia Lee Foy, 77, of Somerset, died February 12, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born January 12, 1945 in Salisbury, PA, she is the daughter of James and Ruby (King) Custer. Preceded in death by her parents, and grandson Sam. Survived by her husband Robert David Foy Sr. to whom she was married 43 years, sons; Jeffery Foy Sr. married to the former Bonnie Shipley of Fairhope, Robert D. Foy Jr. married to the former Mitzi Shaulis, Tayveion Foy all of Somerset, and Enrique Salinas of Texas, grandchildren; Brandi King and husband Stanley of Rockwood, Jeffrey Foy Jr. of Berlin, Kristina Berkebile and husband Chad of Friedens, Chloe and Jacob Foy of Somerset, and great-grandchildren; Madison, Elsie, and Emma. Virginia worked until her retirement as a youth care worker for the Children's Aid Home of Somerset, she fostered 56 children. She was a member of Somerset Alliance Church, and loved camping and spending time outdoors. Friends received 2-5 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 5 p.m. with Reverend Donald Robson officiating.
