Wayne B. "Buck" Pugh, 78, of Somerset, died March 2, 2025 at Select Specialty, Johnstown. Born December 6, 1946 in Somerset he is the son of James Edward and Bernice (Lear) Pugh. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lavan, James Jr., Roger, and William Pugh, and sister Jeanette Rosier. Survived by his wife the former Kaye C. Beistel to whom he was married 47 years, children Andy Baker, April Hochard and husband Richard, Wayne Pugh Jr. and wife Jodi, Lori Bence and husband Tim, grandchildren Carson, Jaxson, Ashley, Lacey, Lyndsey, Brittany, TJ, and Zach, and numerous great-grandchildren, brother Donald Pugh, and sisters Connie Hileman and Linda Sue Manges, and numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne worked until his retirement for the Laborer's Union for 35 years and as a truck driver, he attended New Beginnings Outreach Center, and was a longtime member of the Jenner Rod & Gun Club. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Somerset ICU, and Select Specialty for their wonderful care. Friends received 2-8 p.m Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday with Pastor Kurtis Frampton officiating.
