William Edward Revello, 93, of Somerset, died December 30, 2021 at The Patriot. Born August 13, 1928 in Somerset, he is the son of Charles John and Marie Elizabeth (Zedella) Revello. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, the former Mabel L. Walker who died July 26, 2019, and brothers Charles "Cheese", Robert F, and John "Jack" Revello. Survived by daughters: Suzan Coleman and fiance Robert Hall Jr. of Somerset, and Allison Revello and husband Michael Piekut of Oakland, CA; grandchildren: Theresa "Tracy" Coleman and husband Nicholas Pascuzzi of Bellevue and Jared Coleman of Somerset, also sister-in-law Faith Revello of Cleveland, OH. William was a 1946 graduate of Somerset High School and joined the U.S. Navy immediately upon graduation. He served as an Airman Apprentice with Navy Air Corps Squadron 2C stationed at NAAS Cabaniss Field, Corpus Christi, Texas. His service period from 1946 - 1948 qualified him for the World War II Victory Medal. He worked as a welder and car inspector for B&O Railroad as well as lead welder for the former Coleman Company. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 181, and FOE Aerie 1801. Friends received 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, and from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church where a service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. with Reverend Kathleen Stump officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. Military rites accorded by the Somerset County Honor Guard.
