Arlene, you were like family to me. you took me in at your apartment when Roger asked if I could live there with you at North Center Ave. Somerset. You said Yes!!! That is a true Christian way to live. You not only talked the Christian way but lived it to. You were like a Mother to me. What a special Angel in Heaven!!!

You were always a thoughtful, caring, loving, person to everyone and I loved that about you, so very much! But, what I personally loved was your precious, tender heart for God. I was always encouraged to desire to be more like Him and to live more deep'rooted in my own walk with Him, after being around you. Why? Because, I saw the realness of the Lord working in your life through your trust in Him. I thank God and you, for the light of Him that I saw shining through you. You were one of the vessel's He used in my life that pointed to His salvation and the important's to know Him and His word and choose to (with His help,) live according to His word. Thank you, precious Aunt Arlene for living your life so that God could use you, in my life and the life of so many others. My Siblings and I was blessed to have you as our Aunt and we all love you and will miss you. Thank you, for touching our lives our dear Aunt and for touching the heart and lives of our children and their children.

Oh Aunt Rene, how we will miss you, and your smile! Most of all I will miss your unconditional love, no matter what, I knew you loved me! I have some of the most amazing memories of you, and Lori. I remember when you would sing Lori to sleep with Praise God from whom all blessings flow, I have loved that song ever since. All the car rides we would take with mom, just to get lost, and singing our hearts out, church songs, and silly songs. You were my great Aunt, but seemed like my Aunt, and Lori Jo like my sister. I love you Rene, and you will always live with me in my heart! Kathy and family, I know your hearts are breaking right now, but I praise God that you can rejoice in the fact that she is with the Lord now, and singing His praises!! Love you all!
