Lois Jean Countryman, 79, of Somerset, died May 12, 2016 at The Patriot.  Born March 7, 1937 in Somerset she is the daughter of the late Oliver M. and Centurenna (Stahl) Countryman.  Survived by Mrs. Jean Marteeny, cousin, and Greg, Jeff and Scott Marteeny families; also her constant companion Katie, a West Highland terrier, was always at her side.  Lois is a 1955 graduate of Somerset High School and was active in planning reunion events, she also attended Elizabethtown College where she studied business and accounting.  After graduating she returned to Somerset and was employed by Somerset Trust Company where she retired with 40 years of service.  Lois was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset.  No viewing or visitation a private service will be conducted at the convenience of the family with Tyler Graham officiating.  Interment Berlin IOOF Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Somerset Humane Society PO Box 182, Somerset, PA 15501.
