Hoover---Paul W., 80, Stoystown, died July 13, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 27, 1936, in Somerset, son of Ernest J. and Marion (Adams) Hoover. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Evan Hoover and sisters, Leora Eller and Mary Louise Hay. Survived by loving wife of 54 years, the former Dolores E. Myers, whom he married September 3, 1961; son, Brad and wife Sherri (Brown); daughter, Dawn Wolk and husband, Rick; and granddaughter, Chloe Hoover, all of Somerset. Brother of Nancy Balough and Hazel Thomas, both of Somerset. Paul was a 1954 graduate of Somerset High School. U.S. Army veteran. He worked proudly  for GTE for 42 years. He was a life member of VFW Post 554. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Somerset, where Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Heidi Helsel officiating.
