I have so many wonderful childhood memories centered around Great Aunt Verna Mae (but I called her Aunt Verna Mae). I remember, on the rare occasions, when the four sisters (Gladys, Erma, Verna Mae, Arlene) got together at my grandma's (Erma) house. Oh, the cackling and laughter, the funny stories, that we barely made out between deep belly laughs, tears (from laughing) and one person talking over the other. I also remember going to Pastor Sam Coughenour's church, and then going to Aunt Verna Mae's and Ken's home afterward to have Sunday lunch and visit with family that I would not ordinarily get to see. What wonderful memories those are for all of us! What we would have missed if not for Aunt Verna Mae's hospitality!

Verna Mae was our Aunt. She was one of the precious sibling's of our dearly loved Mother, Erma, Baer, Burk. My sibling's and I and our families, love you Aunt Verna Mae, very much!
You will always have your special place in our hearts. I have many fond memories of you. I know that everyone of your loved one's do. I am sure we could write a book, in your honor, concerning all the valued memories we each have. I am, so, thankful to God for the people He placed in our lives that loved Him and desired to live for Him and please Him. It is because of these people, Aunt Verna Mae being one of them, that made the Lord real in our own personal lives. We saw His realness in their lives. Jesus, was Aunt Verna Mae's personal savior. She loved Him and because of His love in her, she loved and cared for and was prayerfully concerned about other's. Dear Aunt Verna Mae, my families and I, thank you, for your prayers, concern and love for each one of us. Thank you, for loving the Lord and desiring to please Him in your service for Him. Bob and I and our children and their families will miss you. My Sibling's and their families will as well. Judy, does not have a computer, nor does Shelby so, I would like to say in their and their families behalf that they also love and thank you, for all the good blessings of having you in their lives.
Our deepest heartfelt sympathy and love goes out to everyone of Aunt Verna Mae's wonderful family, and all her loved one and friends. God bless each of you and may her spiritual life be your strength, as you call upon Him.
