Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your loved one. How devastating that Randy’s life was cut short. Death is such a vicious enemy. Soon it will be eliminated, along with all its causes. “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death” (1Corinthians 15:26, KJV. A beautiful New World is described in Revelation 21:4: “And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Our loved ones will live again to enjoy what God has promised when His Kingdom comes. I hope this message has brought you the comfort you need and deserve at this time.

Shirley & Jack;
What an awful thing to happen to you two and all your family!
Sometimes we don't know just what God has planned nor do we understand why this has happened! You are both good Christian people! God bless you and your family! Diane & Sam

My husband (Gary Prall) found out yesterday at Penske Racing that Randy passed away. I met my husband when he was with Randy at a Reading Royals ice hockey game. They lived in the same apartment complex at Flying Hills in Reading, PA. I remember having lots of fun with Randy whether it was going snow tubing/sledding on the hills of the golf course or taking turns watching football at each other's place whether it was in Reading, PA or Troutman, NC. He was a great cook and I always looked forward to eating his 7 layer taco dip or the green bean casserole he made when we had him over for Thanksgiving. He played a special part in our wedding party 10 years ago! I posted one of the pictures to the Legacy website as I was unable to post on here. I am so sorry for your loss!

Dear Ankeny family. It is with great sadness that we hear the passing of Randy. Affectionately known here as "Five Bucks" a nickname he picked up when he first started with us in 1999. Not sure why. Randy was a very hard worker as well as a good friend to many here. He was a pretty quiet guy but loved a good joke with his friends and teammates. His work ethic and responsibility still serves as a benchmark. Randy made us better both personally and professionally.
